Replacing the handle

  Remove the interior door panels. Do this by unscrewing any securing screws and then carefully pulling the interior panel away from the door. Gently unlatch each plastic press down clip that is holding the panel in place. Be sure to detach any wires running to the lock and windows.
  
  
• 2). Remove the plastic covering the rods that attach the handle to the lock. There should be two plastic clips holding these rods in place, carefully remove them and then remove the rods.

  Remove the bolts holding the handle assembly to the door. There should be two bolts, unscrew them and remove the door assembly. Seeing into this section of the door can be challenging and will most likely require a flashlight.
  
  
• 4). Replace the door handle. Simply insert the new handle into the door, reattach the bolts, rods and plastic clips which hold it in place. Make sure to secure them snugly before reattaching the interior door panel, making sure to reattach all wires to locks and windows.
