Integra XSi Specs
- The Honda Integra was made from 1989 to 1993 and was the first car on which the company installed its 170-ps VTEC engine. It is a coupe-style car with a five-speed manual transmission. Honda's Integra RSi was the base version; the XSi had a variety of options, from anti-lock brakes to cruise control and a sunroof.
- The three-door Integra XSi coupe measures (L/W/H) 4,390-by-1,695-by-1,325 mm and weighs 1,100 kg. Its wheel base is 2,550 mm with 1,475 treads. Ground clearance is 150 mm with a minimum turning radius of 5 m.
The stock tires on the XSi are 195/60R14 with 1,475 treads. It has a front braking system with ventilated disks and suspension on the front and back. Front fog lamps come spec, but a sun/moon roof and rear/roof spoiler is optional. - The VTEC model B16A engine on the XSi is a water-cooled four-cylinder capable of 1595 cc in displacement and 7,800 rpm. Early models were capable of 160 ps, but an upgrade in 1991 led to 170 ps. It uses an electronic fuel injection system with a compression ratio of 10.4. It has an 81 mm bore and 77.4 mm stroke. Power steering comes standard.
A full-automatic air-conditioner is on board, with climate control as an add-on. Cruise control is another option still seen on these models still alive in 2010, but power locks and windows are standard. The XSi seats five. - In 1991, Honda enhanced its ZTEC engine on the XSi to produce 170 ps. It was also the company's first 1.3-liter engine on a car.
