    • 1). Cut six 30-inch lengths of fishing wire. Thread the fishing wire through (or wrap it around) the end of each utensil so that there is a double length of line. Tie a knot in the end of the line where you have attached it to the utensil.

    • 2). Thread a bead onto the fishing line so that it lies above the utensil and rests on the knot in the fishing line. Do this on each piece of fishing line. Decorative beads further embellish the wind chime.

    • 3). Attach the utensils to the colander. Thread the fishing line through the holes in the colander. Tie a knot in the fishing line to prevent it from slipping through the holes.

    • 4). Cut another length of fishing line and tie it to the handles of the colander. Use this fishing line to hang the completed wind chime.
