    • 1). Engage the parking brake to keep the car from moving during service, then pull the hood release switch. Open the hood and set it on the support arm located along the top of the grill.

    • 2). Locate the back of the passenger headlight housing inside the passenger side of the engine compartment. If the engine coolant housing or air intake cover is blocking access to the headlight, remove them by loosening the bolts holding them in place. Set them aside.

    • 3). Place your finger and thumb on either side of the electrical connector on the back of the headlight and squeeze firmly to release. You may have to wiggle the connector gently as you pull back to unplug it.

    • 4). Grab the small retaining ring holding the light bulb and turn it counterclockwise to free it from the headlight assembly. Pull the burned out bulb out of the headlight, taking care not to hit it on the assembly as you remove it.

    • 5). Twist the burned out bulb to remove it from the retaining ring and place a new bulb in the ring. Turn the new bulb as tight as you can with your fingers to prevent it from loosening up and falling out while the car is in motion.

    • 6). Replace the retaining ring inside the headlight assembly and reattach the electrical connector. Turn the headlights on to verify that the new bulb is working properly before driving the vehicle.
