How to Use a Studio Monitor as a Guitar Amplifier

    • 1). Connect your studio monitors to your amplifier using speaker wire.

    • 2). Plug your 1/4 inch mono cable into the "input" port behind your monitor amp. Guitar amps function in mono.

    • 3). Set the monitor amp output settings to "mono." There are switches behind the amp for this.

    • 4). Plug the other end of the 1/4-inch mono cable into your guitar and turn down the guitar volume.

    • 5). Turn on the studio monitor amplifier.

    • 6). Play your guitar.
