    • 1). Put the iPad keyboard into "Discoverable" or "Pairing" mode. For many devices this entails pressing a multifunction button or "Pairing" button. Check with your keyboard's user manual if you are unsure of the specific steps.

    • 2). Click the "Bluetooth" icon on the upper-right corner on your Mac's desktop and click the "Bluetooth On" entry. Click the "Bluetooth" icon again and click "Set Up Bluetooth Device."

    • 3). Click the "iPad Bluetooth Keyboard" in the list of discovered devices and click "Connect" to establish a connection with the device.
