Women are always thought to be more sentimental than the men. This is mainly influenced by women's physical structure. However, sometimes women's bad mood is often related with the lack of nutrients. Modern medical researches have found out that, if women lack of the following five kinds of nutrients, they will suffer from mental depression and emotional instability, which may further affect their interpersonal relationship.

1. Lack of iron:
Iron deficiency can affect the activity of various kinds of enzymes that contain iron, influence the formation of red blood cells and muscle hemoglobin, making people sleepy, weak, absent-minded, irritable, irascible and other symptoms. Foods that contain plenty of iron include laver, black sesame seeds, shrimp skin, and so on.

2. Lack of zinc:
Zinc takes part in 80 kinds of human activity. It is closely related with the synthesis of protein and nucleic acid. At the same time, it is also the necessary trace element for the reproductive system. Zinc is widely present in animal food, and it is easy to be absorbed by the human body. There are many kinds of food containing plenty of zinc, such as fish, chicken liver, egg, and all sorts of seafood, and so on.

3. Lack of vitamin B1:
Lack of vitamin B1 not only can cause beriberi, but also may lead to neuritis, making people irascible, sleepy, weak, oversensitive and subject to changing moods. Alcohol can interfere with the absorption of vitamin B1. As a result, in order to prevent and treat of vitamin B1 deficiency, it is necessary to avoid drinking alcohol. At the same time, beans and peanuts contain great amounts of vitamin B1.

4. Lack of vitamin B6:
Lack of vitamin B6 may cause excitement, uneasiness, hyperreflexia and peripheral neuritis. What's more, it can also lead to headache, irritability, drowsiness, and even mental depression. Generally speaking, grains and cabbage contain a high content of vitamin B6, so women who suffer from these symptoms can eat more of these foods.

5. Lack of vitamin B12:
Animal liver and lean meat contain the most abundant vitamin B12. If women lack of vitamin B12, it may cause glossitis, diarrhea and megaloblastic anemia, often accompanied by dysesthesia, physical ataxia and other neurologic symptoms. Women who take oral contraceptives for a long-term or eat little meat always suffer from vitamin B12 deficiency. Other foods rich in vitamin B12 include shellfish, fish, egg yolk, and so on. In addition, tea leaves also contain a large number of vitamin B12.
