How to Replace the BJ Cartridge on a Canon Multipass C2500
- 1). Make sure the MultiPass C2500 is plugged into a working electrical outlet and the power is on. Press the "Cartridge" button, located on the bottom right-hand side of the control panel, to allow the cartridge holder to move to the center.
- 2). Open the printer cover by grasping the cover on both sides and lifting up and back. Grasp the green lock lever on the right-hand side of the cartridge holder. Lift the lock lever up to unlock the cartridge holder.
- 3). Lift the BJ cartridge up and out of the cartridge holder. Place the old BJ cartridge in a plastic bag and set it aside to recycle.
- 4). Open the BJ cartridge package and remove the cartridge. Peel the protective foil covering from the cartridge. Lift the orange cap off the print head. Remove the orange tape. Dispose of all packaging materials.
- 5). Hold the BJ cartridge with the label facing forward. Lower the cartridge straight down into the cartridge holder until it is fully seated in position.
- 6). Lower the green lock lever into its locked position. Lower the printer cover to its closed position. Press the "Cartridge" button to return the cartridge holder to its home position.
