How to Remove a KitchenAid Dishwasher Vent
- 1). Turn off the electrical power to your KitchenAid dishwasher from your kitchen circuit breaker.
- 2). Loosen the two hex head screws from the bottom toe panel using a Phillips screwdriver.
- 3). Remove the two screws at the bottom of the outer door panel, and open the dishwasher door slightly.
- 4). Remove the two screws from the top of the front panel. Lift and remove the entire outer panel from the dishwasher door.
- 5). Insert a flathead screwdriver into one of the slots in the dishwasher vent on the doors.
- 6). Turn the vent counterclockwise one-quarter turn, and the vent will become dislodged.
- 7). Lift and remove the entire vent. Inspect the vent for any damage, and replace the part, if necessary.
