Proper Vocal Warm Up Can Prevent You From Losing Your Voice!
I have been a professional singer/ piano player for over 12 years.
I have traveled all across the United States playing in many different types of weather, music venues, situations, with colds, and I have lost my voice, I have had my voice at peak performance, and everywhere in between.
I have struggled night after night wondering why some guys can drink all night and still remain in good vocal health.
I realized there are 3 easy things you can do to prevent losing your voice and to stay ahead of the game.
1.
Get plenty of sleep.
Your voice and your body are your instrument.
Your instrument is biological, there fore must receive plenty of sleep.
Stop staying up so late! Stop partying after you sing.
2.
Drink plenty of water.
In fact eat water based foods.
Fruits and vegetables can support vocal health.
Stay away from fatty foods, caffeine, acidic foods and spicy foods.
Whatever you put in your body will become your body.
3.
Exercise and Warm up your voice before any gig.
Your voice is a series of muscles and every muscle needs to be slowly and properly warmed up before doing any strenuous activity, like singing 3-4 hours per night.
How do you warm up? Well that's the simple part.
I have created a warm up and exercise audio program available on iTunes that you can download.
This program has been very popular with singers all over the world! It is extremely simple and easy to use and doesn't cost you an arm and a leg.
