How to Get Rid of a Jewel Spider
- 1). Locate the jewel spider your trying to get rid of. Although they are timid spiders, they may bite if you keep your fingers too close, so be careful around them.
- 2). Try to lure the spider into a glass jar. Do so by placing the opening of the jar on the spiders path if it's crawling.
- 3). Alternatively, use a long object such as a broom and force it into the glass jar. If the spider is on it's web, hold the jar below it, and then hold the lid above. Bring the lid closer to the spider, and try to force it to drop into the jar.
- 4). Release the spider in a suitable location such as forest edges or brushy areas.
