Outlook Express Will Not Save Passwords
- 1). Open your Outlook Express account.
- 2). Click on the "Tools" option in the menu at the top of the Outlook Express window.
- 3). Click on "Accounts" and then click on the "Internet Accounts" button.
- 4). Select the "Mail" tab.
- 5). Locate the account column and select the email account that does not have a saved password. Click on the account and open its properties by clicking on the "Properties" button.
- 6). Open the "Server" tab and add your chosen password to the password box. Check the "Remember Password" check box next to the password you have just entered.
- 7). Click "OK" to apply the changes to your Outlook Express account and click "Close" to close the account settings window.
- 8). Close your Outlook Express account for the changes to take effect. When you open your Outlook Express account again, click the "Send and Receive" button. You will be asked to provide your password.
