Importing

• 1). Download the ePub book you wish to place on the iPad.
  
  
• 2). Open Apple iTunes.
  
  
• 3). Locate the downloaded ePub file.
  
  
• 4). Drag and drop the ePub file from the folder in to the bar on the left side of iTunes labeled "Library."
  
  
• 5). Select "Books" under "Library" to see where the file has been placed.
  
  
• 6). Connect the iPad to the computer with the provided USB cable. If the USB cable has been lost or damaged, a replacement can be purchased from the Apple website. The iPad will appear under "Devices" in iTunes.
  
  
• 7). Select "Books" under the "Library." Drag and drop the book or books on to the iPad under "Devices." The iTunes program will create a subcategory titled "Books," if one does not exist already.
  
  
• 8). Eject the iPad from the computer. The books will now be accessible from the iBooks app on the iPad.
