How to Connect Scanners
- 1). Plug both the power cord from your scanner and the power cord from your computer into a power strip or wall outlet.
- 2). Attach the USB cable from your scanner to your computer's USB port. Make sure you have the USB cable completely inserted.
- 3). Turn the power on to your scanner and computer. Your computer will boot up and detect new hardware. Your scanner is recognized by your computer as being connected.
- 4). Insert the scanner software driver CD into the CD tray and follow the onscreen instructions. Your scanner will install a driver onto your computer for future use.
- 5). Scan your photos and documents per the instructions provided with your scanner.
