    • 1). Open the "Start" menu and type "DVD" into the search box. Windows DVD Maker should appear in the results. Click on it to open the program.

    • 2). Click "Add items" when the program opens. Browse to the directory in which your pictures are stored. Select the pictures you want for the slideshow and then click "Add." Alternatively, drag and drop any pictures you want from an open Internet Explorer window into DVD Maker. Click "Next" to continue.

    • 3). Preview your DVD if you wish. You can also change the menu text by clicking on the "Menu text" button. Audio effects can also be added. Choose your preferred menu style from the thumbnails on the right-hand side. Click "Burn" when ready.
