How to Read a Webarchive File
- 1). Visit the Safari download page on Apple's website by using your current Web browser (see Resources).
- 2). Click on the "Download Now" button to start downloading the installation file onto your hard drive. Then double-click on the file to launch the installation process.
- 3). Click on "Next" and read the terms and conditions. If you agree with them, click on "I agree" and then on "Next" again. The program will now begin installing Safari onto your computer. Click on "Finish" to close the installer once it has finished installing Safari.
- 1). Launch Safari by clicking on the "Safari" shortcut in the "Apple" folder of your Windows Start menu.
- 2). Click on "File" and select "Open."
- 3). Locate the webarchive file on your hard drive. Webarchive files end with the ".webarchive" file extension. Click on "Open." Safari will now open and display the Web page which you or another user previously saved as a webarchive file.
